Ken is a member of Prison Fellowship New Zealand (www.pfnz.org.nz) and takes services in the men's and women's prisons on a regular basis. Ken ministered to us in the morning and evening services, and, being a talented musician, shared a Gospel challenge in song.
Thank you for visiting Wanganui East Baptist Church online. Our mission? "To know God and make Him known." It is our prayer that men, women and children from every walk of life may come to learn and experience the riches and joy of a life lived by God's grace and power through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We invite you to explore the ministries and resources available to you here on our website. We meet every Sunday at 10:00am to worship our God and King and to hear His Word proclaimed.
What are we preaching?
Calvyn Jonker has just started a series in Luke called "Follow Me" (after working through 1 Peter & Malachi). Dave Tastard is in Ephesians (after completing James) and Chris Donaldson will be preaching from Proverbs during the year.
We invite you to join us this Sunday as we worship and serve our wonderful risen Saviour. Please stay after the service to enjoy coffee and fellowship!
Loving and glorifying God; Growing our relationship with God; Supporting each other in our daily walk; Living out 'Christ in us' to those with whom we come into contact; Supporting those in other places who are making the Gospel known.
